Tyler (according to Christina)
Tyler and I dated for four years, long-distance, before we finally tied the knot. In order to keep a long distance relationship exciting, romantic, and interesting for four years it takes a very special person and I give all the credit for that to Tyler.
Tyler is incredibly persistent. He had to wait quite awhile before I agreed to date him and this persistence carries over into the way he develops his photographic mind. He is constantly looking for new ways to make things look interesting through the view of his lens and he is so dedicated to learning absolutely everything he can about new photography techniques. And yet, he pulls his greatest inspiration from the past in the incredible film photography he shoots.
Tyler is the most loyal person I have ever met in my life. When you let Tyler into your life he just refuses to ever leave. As a wedding photographer, this means the couples we shoot are in for a very fun and exciting relationship with us! As my best friend and life partner it means that I have the joy and honor of having someone as loving and kind as Tyler to stand by my side for the rest of my life.
Creative. This word does not even begin to describe the way in which Tyler shoots weddings. He is beyond inspiring for me and I feel blessed to be able to shoot with someone who makes every single wedding look so unique and different. For you, as a bride and groom, this means that you can expect unique and gorgeous photos of your wedding that are not the typical posed images you have seen before.
I am extremely grateful that I not only get to live everyday of my life with Tyler but that I get to do something we both love, photograph weddings, with someone so inspirational.
Christina (according to Tyler)
The moment I met Christina, I knew she was the one I would spend the rest of my life with. Her poise and grace in everything she does draws everyone to just want to be around her. For me, no distance, or length of time could ever separate something that was so spectacular in my mind.
Christina loves beauty and everything that is natural and pretty in this world. When she started shooting with me I instantly realized that she looks at the world differently. Christina sees the BEST in every person, object, or situation. Every time she looks through a camera she is making the subject look the best it will ever and has ever looked.
This is a fantastic thing for a wedding photographer because you know that no other person is more capable of making you look your best on your wedding day. Your details, bridesmaids, and family will all be simply remarkable memories that will last forever. For me however, this is the best person I could ever hope to spend the rest of my life with. No matter what I do, or how it is done, Christina will continue to see me at my best. I get to hold her hand through every single wedding that we shoot (granted that it doesn’t interfere with shooting!) and feel her encouragement and grace in every situation.
Beautiful is something that many people in this world throw around haphazardly, but when I say Christina is beautiful, I mean that inside, outside, and everything she touches is beautiful. I can only hope to someday see the world the way that Christina does.
Until then, we will continue this partnership and share in the artistic documentation of other people’s love as much as possible!
